Celebrating our 40th anniversary in Guyana

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on August 16th.  We have been showered with many blessings over the years, and we came home soaked from the rain from our morning walk.  Here are our friends, Melvin and Carol Beutler, who live downstairs.  We are always grateful for their company on our walks where we can pour out our souls to each other almost every morning. 

Melvin and Carol Beutler are from Dayton, Idaho, which is close to Preston.  He was the Superintendent of a small school district.  We love our morning walks with them.

 We got to enjoy lunch in our apartment with the Beutlers, Vanderbeeks, and Carters.  Can't remember what we had to eat, but we had a great time.
