Primary Programs

November 2013

Elder Beecher and I worked with two branches to do the music in Primary and the Primary programs.    We attended the LaGrange and Vreed-en-Hoop branches every Sunday but once a month we would go to the Diamond Branch.  LaGrange and Vreed-en-Hoop met in the same building.  We would go to a sacrament meeting at 9:00, then to Primary usually, then to the other sacrament meeting.  It finally worked out so that the Vreed-en-Hoop primary would come in and sing with the LaGrange primary.  Elder Beecher would play the organ for both sacrament meetings.  Sometimes I would go to a Relief Society or a youth class instead of two sacrament meetings.
We enjoyed doing the music for Primary.  The children were so cute and we loved the leaders.  We did the Primary music in Diamond also, but only once a month.  Both Primary programs turned out well.  In LaGrange the spirit was amazing and the children had time to bear their testimonies.  It was sweet.  This was one of our choicest experiences.
